Faculty-led Learning Across the Globe (FLAG)
The Institute for Global Engagement (IGE)’s Faculty-led Learning Across the Globe (FLAG) program includes Course-Embedded Travel (CET) courses and Global Learning Program (GLP) courses. These credit-bearing, campus-based courses taught by Grinnell faculty members offer opportunities for transformative global learning in the dimensions of Grinnell’s Global Education Learning Goals through embedded travel components integrated into the course curriculum.
Course-Embedded Travel
CET courses are credit-bearing, disciplinary courses taught on campus by Grinnell faculty from across the divisions. CET courses integrate a site-based, experiential learning travel component aligned with Grinnell’s Global Education Learning Goals into the structure of the course. Travel takes place during an academic break. CET courses are listed in the course catalogue.
